I knew I had seen this one recently. It looks similar, obviously not gold, but the box appears to have the same "Britt" signature/logo.

YES!! Thank you so much Ripley for posting this!! Now I don't have to re-search Jauce for this image!!
This is the box that I had also seen that accompanied the Gold Thomas on wiki, (and also this auction), that was a reason I had questioned its authenticity, because it doesn't seem to go with the train!! Also, Thomas' blue wheels and the contrasting standard gray wheels on Annie & Clarabel look odd to me, and not very well thought out for such an otherwise over the top idea!!
Whatever it is, we will be sure to find out soon!!🙂

The wheels do look the same as in that picture on Jdogmans Wikia page. Also in that picture its pretty evident that the details are painted on and not stickers. Look at the reflections of the tablecloth on the side of Thomas and Annie and Clarabels faces. The reflections match the reflections on the gold. Stickers would definitely not reflect in the same way if at all. I wonder if this could be the exact same train.

Yes Super I have been suspecting it might be too, since seeing the same box along with it on Jauce, and not feeling like it was a match for the one on the wiki... It seem unlikely that two would have the same odd box!?!?

I also think that the original image on the wiki site passed through the hands of a seller on Jauce named: Pinoy_Penguin_2nd
It has the same red and white checkered tablecloth that is his signature thumbnail backdrop on his items for sale.

It is Monday in Japan, but it is a National holiday (Sports day), so there is no mail services...
I added a few goodies to the shipment and we're waiting for one more item to arrive..
Gold Thomas has been delivered to their warehouse located in the Mie prefecture and has just been sitting over the weekend...
Now all that remains left to chance is a Tsunami, earthquake, or volcano eruption, 3000 mi. cargo plane crash into the Pacific Ocean, not getting crushed or stolen while being unloaded at SFO, clearing customs, a 360 mile van ride through trecherous mountain passes, another local transfer, and not getting stolen out of my mailbox!!
Easy beans right!?!?
Cannot count my chickens until I taste the yoke.
