Super Unfortunately, since I was there almost half a century ago, and I was a kid, it’s no wonder I don’t remember much. I remember the monorail running through the hotel (we didn’t stay there, I just thought it was strange), the trolley in the middle of Main Street, and trying most of the rides. Space Mountain is really hard to forget. I also remember being so excited about it, and my dad saying, “If this is supposed to be the future, I’m not sure I like it!”
I also found information that Big Thunder Mountain opened in 1980, so it’s possible that I missed it, because it hadn’t been built yet when I was at Disney World.
