These Plarail Animal Transporters are not part of Takara Tomy’s Thomas & Friends line of products, but they sure go well with it!

As for Porter, he does work in Brendam Harbour, so the song goes quite well with his run, I suppose.

I have always liked the look of this Stafford model but you are right in that you just don’t see him featured in many videos.

I really like Stafford, he is a bit odd, but nicely designed, with a lot of detail, especially his sides (name plate, number, etc.). The problem is his excessively flattened cabin (no front/back windows!) compared to its basis. According to Thomas wiki, Stafford is based on the North Staffordshire (hence his name!) Railway’s battery-electric No. 1 which looks like this:

Couldn’t the cab of the model be at least a little higher (at the expense of the overall height, of course)?

Btw my Stafford is not original but “AliExpress TrackMaster”. 😁

Here is an idea…looking at the image above…wouldn’t it also been cool if they had whitewalls on the wheels similar to Molley’s only black? Which brings up another question: Is Molley the only model in any of the brands that has this feature?
