Super This is a really good idea. It will be possible to fit longer sections of track on an elevation with curves, without using the classic J-14 piers. But I can already see the problem. They always forget about us who like double track layouts. I assume that this element will only be produced in normal (inner) radius, so it will not be possible to fit a double track on an elevation with these elements, because I don’t believe that it will be possible to add an outer curved rail to a curve of that radius and have it look nice…
The even worse news is that it will “replace” the R-28 Double-track Turnout Rail. Does this mean they are really going to stop making that double track switch or are they planning something new? The current R-28 is a very useful element for double-track layouts and can hardly be replaced in a quality way on such a layout.
